WEC / Le Mans – Audi presents the livery of the R18

TheReveal, this event organized by Audi Sport today at Le Mans, allowed the reigning champion manufacturer of WEC to present the official livery of the R18 e-tron quattro, the n°1 being now driven by Lucas di Grassi who will replace Allan McNish alongside Loïc duval and Tom Kristensen, while the No. 2 will always be led by the trio composed of Benoît Tréluyer, André Lotterer and Marcel Fässler.

It was Tom Kristensen, who holds the record for victories in Sarthe with nine successes, who had the honor of driving the LMP1-H from Place des Jacobins to the Bugatti circuit. The German manufacturer finally abandoned the superb black dress of the first version to adopt a much more consensual livery... As a reminder, the Ingolstadt firm played it safe by entering the lowest energy class and increasing the displacement of the V6 TDI to 4l compared to 3,7l previously.
