Porsche took advantage of the Geneva Motor Show to unveil the livery of the Porsche 919 Hybrid and 911 RSR. The Stuttgart manufacturer makes its return to the premier category ofEndurance after 16 years of absence by presenting an LM P1 with a revolutionary concept based on the new regulations of the FIA and the ACO emphasizing hybrid technologies. The German brand has focused on a 4l turbo V2 coupled to lithium-ion batteries.
The crews of the two Porsche 919 Hybrids were also confirmed last week. Frenchman Romain Dumas will drive the No. 14 alongside Swiss Neel Jani and German Marc Lieb. The sister car #20 will be driven by Australian Mark Webber, German Timo Bernhard and New Zealander Brendon Hartley.
