WEC / Le Mans – Nico Hülkenberg on track with Porsche in Spain

A few days after casting his seat, the German Nico Hulkenberg took place in the LM P1-H prototype of Porsche on the Spanish route of the Motorland of Aragon. Alongside the New Zealander Brendon Hartley, regular driver in the World ChampionshipEndurance this season, Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki, Briton Nick Tandy, and Dane Michael Christensen, all three entered by Porsche in the GT categories in Endurance, the Force India driver took part in his first test session, completing 33 laps this morning behind the wheel of the 919 Hybrid on the 5,345 km route.

“It's great to drive, with impressive downforce in fast corners, and the hybrid power is massive. » declared Hülkenberg who will play in 2015 over two rounds in WEC, the 6 Hours of Spa, May 2 and especially the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 13-14), on the third 919 lined up by the Germans. The other two drivers have not yet been confirmed.
