WEC: Pescarolo at Sebring with the 01

Based on the chassis of theAston Martin AMR-One, the new 03, which will be equipped with a 8-liter Judd V3,4, will not be ready in time to travel to Sebring on March 17. But eager to take part in the entire WEC and prepare as best as possible 24 Hours of Le Mans, Henri wanted to travel to Florida. The problem is that he can only get there with his 01 powered by a 10-liter Judd V5. An engine that does not meet current regulations. Implementing the 3,4 liter entailing too significant modifications for a car about to retire, the team based at the technopark of the 24 Hours circuit requested a waiver to be able to enter the car which allowed it to win the drivers crown in the Le Mans Series last year. Granted by the ACO, this exemption also had to be accepted by the other competitors in the LMP1 category. Which was done.
