WEC – Pierre Ragues continues with SARD Morand

Pierre Ragues seems to have made a good impression with Benoît Morand, the Team Principal of Morand Racing. The 2013 champion ofELMS, who notably won a victory last year at Paul-Ricard (Var) with the Swiss team, has confirmed his presence for the full season of the WEC on one of the two Morgan V8 SARD roads with Dunlop tires entered by the new team SARD Morand.

“I am very happy to be able to express myself in the WEC in an LMP2 and over a full season,” commented Pierre Ragues. “I have already raced in the WEC before, in 2012 (with Signatech-Nissan), so I have followed the Championship closely and I am impressed by its development. I'm honored to play a part in it this season. »

Pierre Ragues' season will begin at the WEC Prologue held at Paul-Ricard at the end of March. But the 31-year-old Frenchman is especially waiting to realize his ninth start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Sarthe) on June 13.
