WEC – Porsche expects closer race at Fuji

« We can expect a closer race than at the Nürburgring and Austin where we clearly had the fastest cars. Fuji requires less downforce, this should work to the advantage of our opponents”, nevertheless affirmed Alexander Hitzinger, the technical director of the LMP1 project.

« It's difficult to say in advance what our level of performance will be in Fuji », confirmed Team Principal Andreas Seidl. “The long straight and the numerous bends impose strong constraints on the car. We tested last week in Monza (Italy), but the tests mainly focused on the 2016 car.
