Unsurprisingly, the Swiss team confirmed that it was leaving in 2016 with a program similar in all respects to that of last year.

WEC – Rebellion Racing changes nothing

After winning last year for the fourth year in a row in private LM P1, Rebellion Racing is setting off again for a new campaign in WEC with its AER-powered R-Ones. Two copies will be lined up for the trios requisitioned at the end of last season, namely Mathias Beche-Nick Heidfeld-Nicolas Cheers and Dominik Kraihamer-Alexandre Imperatori-Mathéo Tuscher.

“Together with AER, we have worked hard on resolving the issues that were raised in 2015 and we will bring the necessary developments to fruition, underlines team manager Bart Hayden. We have a testing program already planned and, unlike last year when we missed the first races of the season, we will be ready from the start and we will be at the FIA WEC Prologue at Paul Ricard HTTT in March. »

If on the Swiss side, we hope that the gap with the hybrid LM P1s will narrow somewhat, the number one rival will once again be called ByKolles Racing.
