WEC – Spa / Audi does not weaken after 4 hours

The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps have just been disrupted by two consecutive safety car exits. The first interruption occurred following a collision between Pecom Racing's Oreca 03-Nissan and the Ferrari 458 of Krohn Racing while the second came following a big outing by Philippe Haezebrouck on the Norma M200P of Extreme Limite Aric. The No. 18 R3 ultra currently driven by Romain Dumas retains the lead in the race ahead of the two R18 e-tron quattros of Marcel Fässler and Dindo Capello, before Marco Bonanomi takes third place with the second R18 ultra at the expense of the R18 n°2. Rebellion occupies the best place among species with Nicolas’ Lola B12/60 Cheers which is ahead of the Strakka Racing HPD ARX 03a currently driven by Jonny Kane and the Dome S102.5 Pescarolo of Nicolas Minassian.

Sam Hancock led the LMP2 class at the wheel of the Zytek Z11SN-Nissan Jota. But the No. 38 suffers a stop & go and it is ADR Delta which takes the reins with its No. 03 Oreca 25-Nissan (Graves-Kerr-Martin). The No. 35 Oak Racing Morgan-Judd (Leinders-Heinemeir Hansson) remains in third position. In GTE Pro, the Porsche 911 RSR of Team Felbermayr Proton currently driven by Marc Lieb is at the head of the category with a good lead over the F458s of AF Corse (Gianmaria Bruni) and Luxury Racing (Jaime Melo). Raymond Narac still leads the GTE Am category with the Porsche 911Imsa Matmut performance.
