The rain almost played a nasty trick on the Hypercars. While the No. 07 Oreca 31 of Team WRT stopped first, Robin Frijns took advantage of this strategy to find himself in the lead of the general standings. The deluge then fell on the Francorchamps circuit and the Dutchman flew, increasing his lead over the rest of the peloton.
