50 years of Michael Schumacher: A message from his family

Tomorrow, Thursday January 3, Michael Schumacher will celebrate his 50th birthday surrounded by his loved ones, who support him in his rehabilitation started following his skiing accident at the end of 2013. The evolution of the state of health of the seven-time world champion F1 remains known only to his family, who wishes to protect the former pilot as much as possible Ferrari.

A wish reiterated this Wednesday in a message posted on social networks, while the official Michael Schumacher mobile application will be launched tomorrow, initiated by the Keep Fighting foundation, to allow as many people as possible to virtually visit the exhibition of the private collection of the German pilot in Cologne.

“We are very happy to celebrate Michael’s 50th birthday with you tomorrow and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being able to do this together. As a gift, the Keep Fighting Foundation has created a virtual museum.

The official Michael Schumacher app will be released tomorrow, so we can review Michael's achievements together [...] Michael can be proud of what he has achieved, and so can we.

This is why we remember his successes with the exhibition of the private collection Michael Schumacher in Cologne, posting mementos on social media and pursuing charity work through the Keep Fighting Foundation. We want to remember and celebrate his victories, his records and his joy.

You can be sure that he is in the best hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to help him. Please understand that we are following Michael's wishes and keeping a subject as sensitive as health, as it always has been, private. At the same time, we thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy new year 2019.”
