The Briton, who believes that Mercedes and Ferrari also dominate F1 behind the scenes, puts forward several solutions to remedy the problem, such as an engine supply, but also software and fuel, identical to the customer teams from the engine manufacturers. « There should be a different engine, an FIA engine, that smaller teams could use, an engine that would be competitive, Newey further adds.
