Alain Prost is the best driver in the history of F1 for Bernie Ecclestone, the director of the FOM, interviewed by the Spanish daily Marca who asked him to choose between the quadruple world champion, Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna.

Bernie Ecclestone said his favorite driver remained Jochen Rindt, who died in 1970, the season of his coronation. “We were very close, both as colleagues and friends. It's definitely my favorite, but it's not the best of all time. It comes down to Prost”, added the F1 financier.
