Caught in the pile-up at the first corner, Alexander Albon was hit from behind by Sebastian Vettel. He then hit the inside wall before crossing the track. Esteban Ocon et Yuki tsunoda could not avoid the car No. 23 in distress. On Twitter, the pilot Williams wanted to reassure his fans. " Everything is fine ! But more importantly, I'm happy that Guanyu-Zhou go well. Thank you to the medical staff and thank you everyone for your messages. I have my eyes on Austria. »

Jost Capito, the director of the British team, thinks he can count on his Alexander Albon from Austria. “I just got some really good news from the hospital, Alex is doing well. He's out and he can go home, relax and get ready for the next weekend. Unfortunately his race was over before the first turn, and I think it could have been a good race for him. »
