Funny time to present your new car. Forty-eight hours after the end of winter testing in Barcelona, Alfa Romeo finally presented the true colors of its C42 for the 2022 season of Formula 1.
After competing in the first three days of testing of the year with a camouflage livery, the team led by Fred Vasseur dressed its C42 in the traditional Alfa Romeo colors, namely red and white.
If in previous years Alfa Romeo had opted for a predominantly white livery with part of the red engine cover as well as a few touches on the bodywork, this time the C42 combines the two colors with the red front and rear leaving the central part to the white.
Small detail, Valtteri Bottas et Guanyu-Zhou will fly the Italian flag throughout the season. This in fact appears at the back of the C42 with the inscription “Alfa Romeo”.
