Allison: 1 F2017 will be 'really exciting'

The future regulation of the F1 implemented from 2017 is designed with the objective of obtaining more aero downforce and better mechanical grip in order to increase the performance of the cars. The single-seaters and their tires will notably be wider and their aero elements will be more imposing.

On the occasion of the FIA conference held in Turin (Italy), the technical director of the Team Ferrari James Allison was enthusiastic about the future look of F1.

“We all, at least most of us, want to produce beautiful single-seaters., recalled the British engineer. We therefore want a regulation that pushes in this direction so that it is natural. We've made a little progress in removing those horrible noses. Thoughtful efforts have been made to make these cars incredibly fast but also easy on the eyes. »

“Next year’s single-seaters are really attractive, particularly because of their dimensions. For those of us lucky enough to have been able to watch them, they are pretty. I can't wait to see them in the race.", added the technical director of Scuderia Ferrari.
