Alonso tired of waiting

At the end of the Monaco Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso returned once again to the performance of his R29. As every time he feels he has a car that is not competitive enough, the Spaniard steps up to the plate. This time, he shows himself to be a bit fatalistic despite the new features that will be brought to his car during the Turkish GP in early June.

“We did our best after starting from ninth position. The race went rather well even if the result was not sufficient. Scoring two points is not a reward but that’s what we achieved,” Alonso insisted on AS.com.

When asked about the improvements made by Renault for the next meeting in Turkey, he admitted that he would have a new wing. “We will introduce a front wing in Turkey but all the teams will introduce something new and there will be no revolution in the hierarchy. It will be like in Barcelona. There, everyone introduced something new and in the end it was the same,” railed the native of Oviedo.

Fernando Alonso finally concluded by talking about his motivation. “We are all competitive and we all want to win. I?m tired of being behind but I really want to go to Turkey which is a very interesting circuit. If I'm tired of missing opportunities in the championship, I still hope. »
