Fast since the start of the weekend, and after setting the best time during Free Practice 3, Fernando Alonso confirmed it during qualifying with this great performance. “It’s been an incredible weekend so far for us. We have been competitive since the first free practice sessions, whereas we usually lose performance on Saturday. Thanks to the wet conditions today the car was great. I felt so comfortable driving that car, and I think the fans helped me have that extra something. »
Fernando Alonso is looking for a first victory since 2013, having scored a podium in Qatar last season. In a humorous tone, the double world champion has already prepared his strategy for tomorrow's departure: “I think I'll attack Max at the first corner! ".
