Alonso: “We will fight for the title”

The return to the old continent seems to have done the greatest good for the Team Ferrari. Last weekend, in Türkiye, Fernando Alonso managed to give his team their first podium this season, taking the checkered flag in third position. The prancing horse firm has made good progress in its car. And even if the delay accumulated on the leader Sebastian Vettel is consistent, the Spaniard still believes in the title.

“There are still 15 Grands Prix left, He says. We started to climb the podium. We must reiterate this regularly. If we succeed, then I am convinced that we will fight for the title again. This 3rd place was important for the morale of the team. We cannot be satisfied with a 3rd place, but we must be more competitive in qualifying. If we always start from the third row or further, fighting for the podium is very difficult. We hope to have new elements next week in Barcelona that will allow us to take a step forward in qualifying.”

In 2010, Scuderia Ferrari was very disappointing before starting a great comeback and entering the closing round as favorite for the Drivers' title. Could it be that the Italians will do the same this season?
