“I no longer had a fever this morning, so I was in better shape. I expected to finish 5th or 6th, so I'm a little disappointed with our performance. The car is better than in Australia, but it's not fast enough. We will see if KERS will play a role tomorrow” explains Fernando Alonso, ninth tomorrow on the starting grid.
Pat Symons' explanation, however, puts Alonso's frustration into perspective: “We decided to leave with a lot of fuel for Fernando. If the weather turns stormy tomorrow, that will be an advantage. Our strategy is based on tomorrow's weather. »
