From Abu Dhabi 2024, the psychological climate could not help Jack Doohan's debut and it even worsened from the start of the 2025 season, especially since the A525 is not far from still being a trestle (thanks Enstone!) even if Gasly manages from time to time to extract something from it. The Aussie's performance has not been extraordinary since Australia and his spectacular crash at Suzuka with the DRS left open shows the inexperience or even a certain lack of maturity of a young driver who has done a lot of simulator work. That said, he still exploded much less carbon than Colapinto during his end of the 2024 season at Williams but the Argentinian has very generous South American sponsors ready to pay to see him at the start. One certainty: regardless of the nationality (Australian, Argentinian, Estonian or Indian) of the second driver, Alpine does not sell road vehicles in these 4 countries. The appointment of the 2nd driver therefore has no commercial and/or marketing reason! Could Doohan's demotion also be the reason for the departure of Oliver Oakes, who certainly has a lot of trouble existing next to the omnipresent (omnipotent?) Brille A Tort?
