Alpine confirms the arrival of Davide Brivio
He had been anticipated for several weeks, especially after his departure from the Suzuki Ecstar team en Moto GP. Alpine F1 Team confirmed on Sunday the arrival of Davide Brivio as competition director from the upcoming season of Formula 1.
It digitally replaces Cyril Abiteboul in team organization Alpine in Formula 1, but his specific role and responsibilities still remain unclear. The former colleague of the CEO of Renault Luca De Meo will in any case be in direct contact with the CEO ofAlpine, Laurent Red.
With Davide Brivio, Alpine enlists the services of a reigning Moto GP champion thanks to Joan Mir and the main architect of Suzuki's rise to power in the premier motorcycle category.
