The approach of mid-season is always a fateful moment for the teams involved in Formula 1. As they approach the summer break, many of them, who often do not play the leading positions, are asking themselves the same question: are we already looking towards the next campaign?

At Alpine, the interrogative has already been mentioned internally, especially since F1 enters a new era in 2022. And according to the first reports, the management of A arrow has already taken this path.

« It was a sluggish start to the season with the teamsenstone and Viry-Châtillon working very hard to develop the car, initially launches Marcin Budkowski, competition director at Alpine, before providing an update on the rest of the 2021 financial year.

The focus is now entirely on 2022 at both factories meaning fewer new parts will be installed on the cars. The second part of the season is nevertheless very busy and the whole team is looking forward to the two-week break to recharge the batteries.

But before we can relax, we're aiming for another strong performance and a double points finish ».

At Silverstone during the British Grand Prix, the last round of the season so far, Fernando Alonso et Esteban Ocon earned 8 points Alpine. The first finished 7th, the second 9th.
