Red Bull inaugurated in 2022 on the RB18 a front axle concept which has since become famous. The front anchor point of the upper suspension triangle is placed as high as possible while the rear arm is mounted lower on the chassis in order to optimize the anti-dive dynamics which allows control of the front axle under braking.

Mercedes was one of the last teams to adopt this architecture, only doing so mid-season last year on the “B” version of the W14. The attachment point of the front arm of the upper triangle had been
