Antonio Giovinazzi: 'When money rules, F1 can be ruthless'

The announcement came this Tuesday morning. Antonio Giovinazzi will be replaced in the seat Alfa Romeo by Guanyu-Zhou in 2022. The Italian driver started with the Swiss team in 2017, a season where he competed in two Grands Prix, before becoming a full-time starter from 2019. The native of Martina Franca wanted to react to his departure on his Instagram account: " There Formula 1 it’s emotion, talent, cars, risk, speed. But when money rules, it can be an unforgiving world. I believe in the surprise of an unexpected result, of big or small victories won thanks to one's commitment. It was my first photo on an F1, the last one remains to be taken. » This will probably be during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last round of the 2021 season (December 12).

It’s written in advance! For Zhou, isn't it a year for Pourchaire to repeat classes on the lower floor? With a Chinese GP returning to the 2022 calendar, there is no doubt that Alfa Romeo will use Zhou to the fullest as part of its promotion in China
