Doubt has persisted for a long time since the Spanish GP, in which Lance stroll did not participate. The Canadian, injured in the hand, withdrew from the start of a race for which he had qualified 14th. This was due to pain from his cycling accident that occurred just before the start of the 2023 season and which had deprived him of winter testing.
Stroll has taken some rest and will participate in the Canadian Grand Prix, it was announced Aston Martin in a statement. “I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel with the team for my home Grand Prix this weekend. I had planned to fight hard to be ready to race in front of the Montreal crowd. I feel good after my surgery and I did a few laps at Paul Ricard this week to prepare. Thanks for all your support, see you this weekend!” launches number 18, visibly happy to be back with his audience.

There was talk at one time of replacing the Canadian with Felipe Drugovich, the reserve driver of the British team, or with Valtteri Bottas who occupies the role of third man in Mercedes. Finally, Stroll will be driving the AMR25 with which he will try, on home soil, to score points, something he has not managed to do since Miami, where his fifth place in the sprint race earned him five points. The son of Lawrence Stroll has so far achieved his best result of the season in Australia (6th), the only Grand Prix where he has scored points apart from China (9th).

If the only permanent employee on the grid unwittingly and willingly repeats the Barcelona stunt, Drugovich must clearly understand that he will never be in the cockpit of the second Aston Martin and that it is in his best interest to leave the fold of the English brand!

I hope he's at 💯 percent, personally I have doubts, especially after an operation... If in qualifying he's in the last, then he has to be... fired and immediately …….. Son of a ….. !!! Or not !!!! 😎👀🤨
