Something promised, something due. First team to confirm launch date, Aston Martin presented his car for the 2022 season at its headquarters in Gaydon (United Kingdom) this Thursday, February 10, the day after the presentation of the RB18 Red Bull. This responds to the name of AMR22 and will be entrusted to Sebastian Vettel et Lance stroll as was the AMR21 in 2021 already.

Unlike Red Bull which presented a slightly evolved and decorated version of the F1 showcar or to Haas which published images of one livery only, Aston Martin revealed its real car with the first public outing of the AMR22. Unsurprisingly, the English team has not changed its colors and therefore continues with an emerald green livery reminiscent of the Aston Martin color. The pink edging, the result of the partnership with the former sponsor BWT, has disappeared, giving way to a edging in the color used by the manufacturer in Endurance.

« Look at the car, who wouldn't be excited to race with it? exults Sebastian Vettel. As for our hopes for the season, I don't think anyone really knows what to expect. There are new rules and all the teams hope to have done well. Everyone wants to win, including me, and no one would be in a bad situation. F1 if his dream wasn't to win. I'm no different. The main goal is to keep moving forward, to move forward. This is only the 2nd year of a five-year plan so we are still close to the start. This team has big ambitions and big plans and I'm excited to be a part of it »
