Before McLaren, Oscar Piastri could have signed with Williams

But the Australian by exploring his options had already managed to find a better opportunity than joining Williams by signing a pre-contract with McLaren. One Alpine finds himself in a bad position, Williams for his part still has several options after confirming Alexander albon. For now, two names emerge at the top of the list of contenders to replace Nicholas Latifi. On the one hand, Nyck de Vries, reserve driver for Mercedes who sees his contract in Formula E end with the departure of his stable. The other, Logan Sargeant who hits the screen in Formula 2 with Carlin.
