Badoer at the wheel of the Ferrari F60

The ban on private testing prevents drivers from testing single-seaters outside of race weekends. Ferrari found the solution for Luca Badoer to get his hands on it before the European Grand Prix: to have him participate in a film shoot for commercial purposes.

Badoer at the wheel of the Ferrari F60

Michael Schumacher had not received authorization from rival teams to test the F60 before the European Grand Prix. Ferrari did not make the same request for Luca Badoer but found the solution so that the Italian driver could get behind the wheel of the car before arriving in Valencia. Monday and Tuesday, Luca Badoer will therefore sit behind the wheel of the F60, for the filming of a video for commercial purposes, Monday and Tuesday, in Fiorano. Ferrari announced this decision in the evening, affirming that the team was returning to work, after a two-week truce agreed with the other teams.

When Michael Schumacher accepted the challenge of replacing Felipe Massa, he had to resolve to only drive ??only?? there F2007, the model F1 2007 Ferrari. After a few tests and serious physical preparation, the seven-time world champion had to throw in the towel due to neck pain. Last Tuesday, Luca Badoer was officially appointed to take the seat of the No. 3 Ferrari in Valencia. A test driver with the Scuderia for a decade, Luca Badoer has limited experience of the F60, with testing outside of race weekends being prohibited.
