Bianchi: Marussia closes in on Sauber

Jules Bianchi is making waves this season at Marussia. After scoring the Russian team's first points at the Monaco Grand Prix, the Frenchman once again distinguished himself by taking 12th place on the Silverstone grid, taking advantage of the changing conditions. The French driver defended himself well in the race as he was able to finish in 14th place. If the resident of the Ferrari Driver Academy who replaced Kimi Räikkönen at the Silverstone tests has never driven in F1 on the Hockenheim track, his career allowed him to know this track.

The German track seems to suit Jules Bianchi well, who is confident before heading into the tenth Grand Prix of the season this weekend. “ I have always enjoyed the Hockenheimring since I rode there in the lower disciplines. I have good memories of having won on this circuit in the past. The target will be significantly different this year, but after securing Q2 at Silverstone, we hope to prove that we have moved closer to Sauber and we want to achieve another good qualifying. We had positive tests at Silverstone and I hope they will allow us to have some good races before we start the summer break. »
