Binotto understands Leclerc's frustration

Mattia binotto will start to turn white hair. The new boss of the Team Ferrari once again had to manage its two men Sebastian Vettel et Charles Leclerc on track during the Chinese Grand Prix, held on Sunday April 14 in Shanghai.

The Swiss boss ordered themake a change of positions between its drivers during the first stint, when Sebastian Vettel expressed via radio his ability to go faster than Charles Leclerc.

Interviewed on Sky Sports F1, Maurizio Arrivabene's replacement justified his unsuccessful tactics (the two Mercedes signed a third double in 2019). “I understand Charles’ feeling, but at this point in the race, the Mercedes We were going faster and we were trying to give Seb the best opportunity. This was not to give an advantage to any particular driver.

If Charles is angry, that's his right and we have to accept it, says Mattia Binotto. We don't have the slightest idea why we couldn't keep up with the Mercedes. We have to return to Maranello (Italy) and study the data »he concludes.
