BMW-Sauber unveils the C29

After McLaren et Ferrari, BMW-Sauber has unveiled the car who will walk the circuits of F1 in this 2010 season. Still without sponsors, the car of the team d?Hinwil is almost entirely white, with the presence of a blue and red stripe running across the car from one pontoon to the other, passing through the nose. A nose which is close to the lines of that of the McLaren MP4-25 and stands out from that of the Ferrari F10. Kamui Kobayashi (23 years old) and Pedro de la Rosa (38 years old) posed in front of the car that they will debut this week in Valencia.

« The last few months have been really intense for us, says Peter Sauber, relieved to see the C29 on the track. We had to fight for the survival of the team and then we focused on setting up an organization for the future. The technical preparation of the 2010 car continued without interruption and according to plans planned in spring 2009, despite all the upheavals (BMW shutdown). We have a long tradition in the association of a young and an experienced pilot. Pedro (de la Rosa) has worked at a high level for many years and we will benefit from his experience. Kamui (Kobayashi) also has a lot to offer us and last year he impressed me, especially in Abu Dhabi. »
