Valtteri Bottas competed in its second day of testing on the Silverstone circuit, completing 170 laps on the circuit's International track, in addition to the 120 laps completed on the Grand Prix track. The Finn, who seems to be gaining more and more importance at Grove, continued his learning by taking advantage of a dry track despite the weather forecast announcing further showers for today. Williams was also able to work on the aerodynamics of the car.
“It was another successful day for the team, we had no problems with the car”, comments the Finnish test driver, author of a time of 48 on the shortened Silverstone track. “The longer stints were helpful and it was good for me because it helped me understand the tires better and adapt more to the tires while working with the team. We were lucky with the weather today with the forecast we had and we were able to complete most of our stints in the dry despite the rain that had fallen previously. »
