Good start for the Sauber C34 at Jerez

Sauber F1 Team got off to a good start in testing at Jerez with a C34 which did not encounter any serious problems. Marcus Ericsson came closest to the benchmark.

Good start for the Sauber C34 at Jerez

Marcus Ericsson had a good day of testing in Jerez (Spain) at the wheel of the Sauber C34. The Swede was able to achieve the second time only a tenth of the reference achieved by Sebastian Vettel by completing 73 laps. The Swiss team took advantage ofgood reliability of his news car during a day where interruptions remained rare.

“It was a really good day. We have good reason to be satisfied.”, confirmed Marcus Ericsson. “We were able to complete quite a few laps and we were able to work on the setup and all the necessary installations. We didn't encounter any major problems with the car, which was the most important thing. We hope to continue like this. »

Marcus Ericsson will give way to his teammate Felipe Nasr during the next two days.
