Le Corriere dello Sport announced this morning the tenure of Valtteri Bottas in Ferrari in 2016 replacing Kimi Räikkönen. The Finn's future within the Scuderia has often been called into question in recent weeks, with the 2007 world champion struggling to keep up with his new teammate. Sebastian Vettel who has a lead of almost 60 points in the Drivers' standings.
Among the names mentioned to possibly replace Kimi Räikkönen, that of Valtteri Bottas figures prominently. The pilot Williams stands out by finishing in 4th place in the Championship, one point ahead of his compatriot.
But this information was denied by several sources close to the matter, starting with Didier Coton who is none other than the manager of the Williams driver. “What a morning! The heat wave is affecting many countries, particularly in Italy. Let’s turn on the air conditioning and keep our heads cool.”, he published on Twitter.
