Bottas does not discuss with other teams

Earlier in the week, Toto wolff had deemed the situation “uncomfortable” Valtteri Bottas, not having a steering wheel for the 2018 season. Nevertheless, the main person concerned remains calm in this situation which he has known since the start of his career in F1.

« I don't know when I'll know, declared Bottas at a press conference. The schedule is flexible, I'm not in a hurry. Discussions will open very quickly, as a driver it's always nice to know what we will do next year. »

The Finn assures that he is focusing on his current season in order to bring back good results before starting discussions for 2018.

« I would like to make a long-term commitment with Mercedes, that's my goal, what I work for every day and I try to get the best out of every situation. I don't chat with other teams."
