Boullier becomes general director of the French GP

It will now be Éric Boullier who will be in charge of the organization of the French GP. The former Team Principal of McLaren who has until now served as a strategic sporting and operational advisor, will occupy the position of Gilles Dufeigneux for the French event contested for two years on the Paul-Ricard circuit in Le Castellet (Var).

Éric Boullier will therefore have to study and sign all important documents relating to the race and make strategic decisions for the Grand Prix. The new general director of the French GP will above all seek to perpetuate the future of the event on the F1 calendar beyond the initial 5-year contract signed with the FOM. He is also working to fill this year's program after the support races were abandoned. F2 et F3.
