Eric, we imagine that you are satisfied that Romain Grosjean can carry out tests for Pirelli?
This is obviously a very good thing. It is a recognition that Pirelli calls on Romain. This allows it to ride in a Formula 1 and gives it credibility in the eyes of the paddock. It's true that he somewhat missed his first appearance in Formula 1, despite good performances, but he deserves a second chance.
How did you come to integrate Romain into the “Gravity Sport Management” structure?
We talked regularly since the beginning of 2010 and I sometimes gave him advice. His entry into Gravity is ultimately a logical continuation. I positioned Romain at the right time for the Pirelli test driver position because since then there have been many teams trying to place their own drivers.
After a rather difficult weekend at Monza, what are your hopes for the Singapore Grand Prix?
We knew that Monza would not be our favorite track but from Singapore onwards, and until the end of the season, we should find the level of performance that we had in Belgium. We have not planned any changes to the “F-Duct” in Singapore because it works very well that way, but we will benefit from a new front wing.
