Boullier wants to fight for the title in 2014

How was the choice of Romain Grosjean ?
It’s a big mission. Romain joined us several months ago and he had several goals to achieve, on a personal, professional and sporting level. He had to rebuild himself within a team that he had probably left not in the best conditions. One by one, he achieved all his objectives until he got the chance to drive for us in free practice for the last two races of the season. And he proved to the team that he now had enough talent, performance and maturity to claim to become a starting driver for next season.

Did the fact that he was French make the difference?

No not at all. It?s simply a plus. And for our French partners like Total, it is a boon to be able to exploit its presence as a holder.

The team is rebuilding with two new drivers. What will be your short and medium term objectives?
For 2012, it's quite clear, it will be about trying to get back that fourth place that we had promised ourselves. Over three years, the project is to be considered a top team. But that means going for victory regularly and fighting for the title.
