Bourdais satisfied with his race

“It was a good day, apart from the fact that I started from the back of the grid, which meant that I couldn't get a single point” analyzes Sébastien Bourdais. “But clearly our car worked well and I was in the right rhythm. The team opted for the right strategy, we started with the softest tires, then I was quite fast. I am ultimately happy with this result. I am now looking forward to Barcelona where we will receive further developments on the car and I am sure it will make a big difference. It's nothing special to finish 13th, we don't score any points, but I'm happy with the work accomplished today. »

Resident in Bahrain, Sébastien Buemi hoped for better for this race. “I'm not happy with my result. I got off to a bad start, where I skated a lot. Then I was not able to attack and catch up. I don't really know why I suffered so much today, but the behavior of my car was strange. The positive thing is that I finished this race and gained some experience, but there's not much to say other than I was slow and had a bad weekend. »
