Brawn GP smiles again

Jenson Button: “We had a good first day of testing and it is encouraging to see that the car is back on pace. We focused on adjustments and evaluations to confirm that the work being done is going in the right direction. There are still some adjustments to make as I am not completely satisfied with the balance of the car but the pace is good. »

Rubens Barrichello: “It's nice to get back to what seems to be a competitive pace. The two free practice sessions of the day went well with a lot of work done. I'm pretty happy with the data collected and how the car behaves. If we can continue on the same path, it should be a good weekend. »

Ross Brawn: “It's a good start to the weekend. Is the ground temperature very high here? over 50° this afternoon? and we were able to manage our tires well. The two drivers followed a fairly similar program, revisiting certain settings defined during the last Grands Prix and trying new elements. Jenson and Rubens agree on the direction to follow here. »
