Briatore and Symonds leave Renault

A few days before the FIA World Council which will be held in Paris next week, Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds have left the Renault team.

In a press release published on the team's website Renault, we can read that Renault will not make any comments before going before the World Council on September 21.

« Team Renault F1 will not dispute the FIA's recent allegations regarding the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. The team also indicates that its managing director, Flavio Briatore and its executive director of engineering Pat Symonds have left the team. Before participating in the hearing before the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on September 21, 2009, the team will make no further comment. »
