Bruno Senna: “Keep working”

For a long time, in Bahrain, many people believed that the two Cosworth-powered Dallaras of the HRT team would not start the race. Finally Bruno Senna first, then Karun Chandhok, took to the track for the first laps of the wheel of the car of the Spanish team.

Qualified on the last row, the two drivers quickly retired from the race, but the initial objective, which was to take the start, had been achieved. Now you will have to drive as much as possible in order to perfect your knowledge of the car.

« We need to continue building on what we achieved in Bahrain, declares the Brazilian pilot. We managed to put both cars on track ten days ago. Now we must continue working as a team. I arrived in Australia early to get used to the time difference. I have already driven on the Albert Park circuit, but that takes me back to 2006 when I was entered in F3, in the support race of the GP of F1. I had obtained good results since I had won! Now I have to work with the team in order to continue to discover the car. I really enjoyed the long hours of work with the team and I will give everything to progress as quickly as possible and bring them good results. »

This weekend in Melbourne, the HRT team?s single-seaters will have no other objective than to reach the finish. A result which would certainly be celebrated as a victory by José-Ramon Carabente and his men.
