Buemi learns quickly

Sebastian, what is your feeling with the Formula 1, after a disputed third of the season?
I have very good feelings. We had two good races at the start. The last two did not go in the direction we wanted, but it's still experience to be had. The car seems more competitive so I think we are heading in the right direction.

Either you or Sébastien (Bourdais) have been in the points several times. What do you think of your potential?
I think we are close to the points since we are fighting regularly to get to Q3. In Monaco we were really close, so we have a good car. We need to improve but it?s so tight? Two tenths can block you in Q2 or send you to Q3. So we have to see what we can improve to try to get into Q3. This is the best way to regularly score points.

Before F1, you knew GP2. What difference do you make between the two?
As a driver, the difference is not huge. Ok, we drive faster, we brake later, the turns are faster? But I think the most important thing is how to work as a team. In GP2, you only have one engineer available. Whereas in F1, you have a great team around you. To be competitive you need to know how to work with them and I think that is the biggest difference with GP2. And that?s what takes time in terms of learning.

You don't seem to have had any problems in that regard?
No, because when you realize the potential here and there, and if you want to do good times, you have to use everything. After the race, there are always things I can improve. I think that with experience, I will be able to take everything into account.
