Button at the Race of Champions

Jenson Button (Brawn GP) has confirmed that he will take part in the Race of Champions on November 3-4 in Beijing. He will be present with Sébastian Vettel (Red Bull).

It is in the venue which hosted the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 that the Race of Champions will take place on November 3 and 4. After Sebastian Hag, it?s the turn of Jenson Button, the current leader of the world championship Formula 1, to confirm its presence in “the bird’s nest” (the nickname of the Olympic stadium).

« It's always an event " said Button. “ With him and Sébastian Vettel, we will have two of the leaders of the world championship, and no matter who wins the title, they will have the opportunity to fight one last time at the end of the season », added Fredrik Johnsson, the organizer of the event.

The Race of Champions takes place just a few days after the epilogue of the championship in Abu Dhabi.
