Button smiles again at Hockenheim

But the Asturian effectively defended his leading position and left his competitors to fight for the places of honor. “I couldn't attack Fernando in the last stint. You really have to attack when you're in the middle of a three-way fight. You have to watch the driver behind you while trying to pass the one in front. I probably attacked more at the start of the last stint trying to overtake Fernando because you can control your race. It was tight but Fernando, like all of us, knew how to use his SREC perfectly to stay in front, not only in the DRS zone but also on the rest of the circuit. The gap remained a little too large for me to attempt a maneuver. I'm a little disappointed but the race was still enjoyable. »
