Button shines in free practice

The McLaren driver took advantage of the second free practice session held in the dry to set the best time of the day. The first four single-seaters are all powered by Mercedes.

Jenson Button set a benchmark time of 1:26:456. He precedes Nico Rosberg (Meercedes GP) by only 0??065. Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) takes the 3rd time of the session (1:27:033) followed by Michael Schumacher (Mercedes GP) who finished 0'040 behind the 2008 World Champion.

Mark Webber took advantage of the absence of Sebastian Vettel (accident in free practice this morning) to place first Red Bull in 5th place (+0??693). Vitaly Petrov (Lotus-Renault) and Paul Di Resta (Force India) are 7th and 8th respectively. There Team was discreet during this session. Felipe Massa is only 6th and Fernando Alonso only signs the 11th beat (+ 1??613).

Qualifying will take place tomorrow at 13 p.m. The latest weather reports predict dry weather.
