It's time to celebrate at Cadillac. For what will mark its first home appearance since entering Formula 1, the American team has decided to make a splash. This Tuesday, April 28th, the transatlantic outfit unveiled a special livery dedicated to the Miami Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2026 season.
A patriotic livery
Presented in collaboration with its technology partner TWG AI, this limited-edition livery departs somewhat from the brand's usual codes to embrace American aesthetics while retaining Cadillac's DNA. The star and stripe motif is seamlessly integrated into the bodywork, notably featuring a front wing meticulously decorated with 50 stars, one for each American state… even on the front wing itself, to merge Cadillac's visual identity with American heritage. Patriotic fervor is also emphasized, with the rear wing sporting red, white, and blue hues as a nod to the team's roots, while the drivers will debut special racing suits for this Florida debut.
This first race in the United States is indeed a major milestone for the General Motors team. After an intense start to the season, the team intends to capitalize on the local enthusiasm to assert its American identity on the grid.
Although Cadillac's points tally remains empty after the first three races of the season, the team can take heart from its thirteenth-place finish in Valtteri Bottas achieved in China, his best performance under his new colors, to try to unlock his record in front of his home crowd.
After a month-long break, fans of Formula 1 Fans will be able to admire Cadillac's new livery from the very first free practice sessions on Friday, May 1st, before the weekend's highlight, the Grand Prix, which will take place on Sunday, May 3rd, under the Miami sun, but at 22:00 PM Paris time. Fans will be even more spoiled as this Florida event adopts the Sprint format, offering double the spectacle starting on Saturday.
