Canal+ welcomed the audiences for the 2018 F1 season with certain records established since the start of broadcasting of the Championship by the private channel.

Canal+ welcomes its audience in 2018

Canal+ revealed its audience figures at the end of the 2018 season of F1. The private channel welcomed the year's results which are among the highest recorded since it acquired the rights to broadcast the Championship in 2013.

The figures show an increase of 6% compared to the 2017 season with an average of 760 viewers (across France) present for the Grands Prix broadcast in the afternoon, which represents almost a third of subscribers. This is the highest score recorded since 000.

The Spanish Grand Prix played on May 13 was the most successful with 951 viewers and a peak of 000 million. This was followed by the Monaco GP with 1,1 viewers and the French GP with 902 subscribers, while these events were broadcast unencrypted on TF000.
