Carlos Sainz took pole position for the DPPI British GP

Carlos Sainz became the 104th pole-sitter in F1 history by taking pole position for the British Grand Prix this Saturday at Silverstone. The Spanish of Ferrari achieved the best performance in the English wet by surprising Max Verstappen (Red Bull), 2nd, and who had taken the best times in Q1 and Q2. The Madrilenian was also surprised by his own performance, especially given the difficult track conditions. “ I was in big trouble with stagnant water on my intermediates, abstract Carlos Sainz.
