We are at 2 out of 10. After Haas on January 31, it was the turn of the reigning world champion team to present its livery. And, unsurprisingly, the Red Bull is no different from the liveries of previous years. If the Austrian team has announced its upcoming partnership with the Americans Ford, the association will only be effective from 2026. So, for the moment, no trace of the American manufacturer's logo, or even a a change of hue in the blue of the car.

It is therefore more of a game of seven differences than a radical turnaround. But why change a winning livery?

Compare the livery of the Red Bull team between 2022 and 2023:

An additional Rokt logo, Puma replaced by Castore, Bybit which coexists with the Red Bull logo on the fins… and that's about it. But if the appearance of the single-seater Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez is as similar as ever, the team has announced several special liveries to come during the 2023 campaign. With an early season event in New York, the eyes of the Milton Keynes team seem to be on the United States. United, where Formula 1 will visit three times this season: Miami (May 5-7), Austin (October 20-22), and Las Vegas (November 16-18). For these events, the Red Bull will be dressed in a livery created in collaboration with the team's fans.

During the live launch of the season, Verstappen, Pérez and Christian Horner also presented a black and white single-seater, which is in reality a work of art signed Mr Doodle, in the style of the partnership between Alfa Romeo and BOOGIE. If fans would have liked to see it on track, like Red Bull's white livery in homage to Honda at the Turkish Grand Prix, it will be sold at auction for the benefit of the Wings of Life association.

A presentation that is a game of 7 mistakes! Almost a non-event like more and more F1 presentations each inter-season...
